If you love to watch the reality show The Bachelor on ABC, you will love how VH1 has put a twist on reality television dating. The Rock of Love features the lead singer, Bret Micheals, of Poison and twenty-five lovely and not so lovely girls, all competing for his affections. The season premier was on July 15, 2007. Over the course of thirteen episodes in season one, Bret's quest for love had its up, it's downs, and its crazy moments.

Episode One was titled "Don't Threaten Me with a Good Time". Twenty-five women stood outside Bret's place anxiously awaiting his arrival. Much to their surprise, Bret's head of security, Big John, let four of the girls go before they even made it into the house. One girl in particular refused to accept it. She continuously bugged Big John until he allowed her in the house. In this episode, pictures were taken for their VIP Backstage Passes. As everyone partied and got to know one another, Bret began to feel a bit overwhelmed with all of these women pushing and pulling for his attention. In fact, one girl got a little out of hand.

Episode Two was titled "Talk Dirty to Me". Sixteen girls survived the first elimination. Under the stress of competition, alliances are formed. The house then divides into two groups: The Good Girls and The Bad Girls. Through all of the personal drama developing between the women, Bret is still focused on testing them to see who will be able to satisfy his desires while he is on the road. Bret is strapped to a device that measures his arousal while each woman uses their sexiest voice to turn him on over the phone. The winners were allowed to see Bret in his element.

Episode Three was titled "Motocross". The remaining twelve girls got to experience Bret's love of motorcycles as they competed in a motocross relay race. After getting a crash course in operating a motorbike, they divide into three teams. Just watching the relay race was enough to leave you laughing until you cried. Once back at the house, the immaturity of some of the girls comes out in full force in an altercation between two of them. Meanwhile, the winners of the relay race where focused on their upcoming date with Bret. Two of them went on an intimate drive-in movie date in the backyard that evening. The next day, Bret took the other two winners on a date to a bikini shop so they may pick out brand named bikinis.

Episode Four was titled "Riff it Good". With ten girls left, Bret decides to have them split into two teams and show off their creative
