I am an Asian woman, but my husband is European. But I am so lucky that he like to eat Asian food too. I cook Asian food recipes for most of the time, and only cook European food occasionally.
I still think Asian Food is the easiest way of cooking. Maybe because I am familiar to do cook it, better than any kind of food in the world. But it's a matter of taste. Some people do not like Asian food at all. But it is their choices.
One of our favorite recipes is Chicken Curry.
Here are the recipe, you can try to cook it too if you want.
What you need to prepare :
1 big slice of chicken breast (preferably boneless chicken meat)
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 chop of garlic.
onion (half of big red onion is enough)
fresh ginger (just a little), 1 cm size
salt (depend on your taste)
a cup of coconut oil
Oil to fry
small piece of lime, get the juice from it
Cooking steps :
1. Cut into small slices the chicken meat, add lime juice mix it.
2. Blend garlic, onion, fresh ginger
3. Warm the oil, fry the chicken for 5 minutes, and add the blended ingredients until you smell then nice smell from the garlic. Fry and mix it.
4. Add the coconut oil, curry powder and salt.
5. Your Chicken Curry dishes is ready after approximately 10 minutes cooking.
I think you will agree with me that it is a very quick cooking but taste so good. If you like, you can add a little hot red pepper on your dish when you cook. How much? depend on your taste. If you like hot spicy food, you can add one big red pepper, slice it into small pieces or blend it together with the other ingredient like garlic and onions. Then fry it like what I mention with step 3. For me, I always add hot spicy red pepper since it will make the food more tasty. Some what like Indian food but also like Indonesian food. And you can add a little sugar if you like your food to taste a bit sweet.
You can also chance the chicken meat with beef, but for your information, beef will take longer time to cook compare to chicken meat. So you will need more time to beef curry for your dishes.
Try to serve Spicy Chicken Curry with warm white rice.
