Amazing Grace

I find it fascinating
God could save a wretch like me.
No matter how many times I ask
He's willing to set me free.

I call upon His name each day
Regardless of how I feel.
I may be dancing and singing
Or suffering through an ordeal.

Each day, He listens to my voice
Never turns a deaf ear to my plea.
He whispers inside my soul,
"The Cross of Calvary is the key."

And, so, I re-visit the cross again,
Witness my Saviour's love, you see.
His arms are spread wide open
As He waits to embrace me.

"Amazing Grace! How can it be?"
My soul never fails to ask.
One day, when I'm in Heaven
In Jesus' glory, I will bask.
