Why do we make mistakes? Well, no one person is perfect. It is just life and the way we are. If no one made a single mistake, then how would we ever be able to learn lifes lessons?

Our mistakes make us who we are. By making a mistake and admitting to the mistake, we are able to learn from it and go on with our lives. I admit that I have made plenty of mistakes in my life. More so that I have even lost count. I am sure that I will make more mistakes in the future.

I remember one mistake in paticular that I have made. I was working at a good paying factory. I was on the second shift. My husband and I had just gotten married and I was barely able to see him. This started a great deal of stress. Then, I was told that a hotel was gauranteeing fourty hours a week. It was only minimum wage, but fourty hours a week and to work days. Then, I could be home with my family in the evening. I quit the factory job and started at the hotel. I remained there for atleast a couple of months. Never once did I get fourty hours. Never once did I get even twenty hours in a week. We started falling behind on our bills and as I continued working there, it just got worse. The stress was really on now. I learned from that mistake and got a different job. Another factory job which paid well over minimum wage.

I have also made mistakes by spending my hard earned money. There was one time I got my paycheck and of course, there was a bill due. It was not late yet. So, I thought that maybe I could skip that bill and buy a few things I wanted. I could just pay that bill with next weeks check, I thought. Well, the next week came around and like it always does, something came up. Our fuel pump went out on our truck and I ended up having to pay for a new fuel pump. The bill that I put off the week before ended up not getting paid like I had planned and we ended up having to pay extra fees when the bill was paid.

So, we are only human. We will live our lives. We will make mistakes. Some want to make others feel stupid just because of a mistake they have made. Well, the next time someone talks down on you for a mistake you have made, just look them in the eyes and as serious as you can be, ask them " What? Have you never made a mistake before? " I have tried this one myself and they never have a reply. Just complete silence.

Remember, making mistakes is what we do. It is how we learn in life. We learn from our mistakes and make them right again.
