On the Fourth of July
There will be:
Sizzling summer sun.
Trying to have some fun.
Plenty of food to eat.
People soaking up the heat.
Flags waving in the breeze,
And the rustling of the leaves.
Red, white and blue;
Patriotism true.
Parading down the street.
Marching to the beat.
Sitting in the sand.
Listening to the band.
Fireworks in the sky;
On the fourth of July.
