whenever i return to the land,
of my grandmother's birth.
of my father's birth.
of this piece of earth.
i can hear the words,
that moses heard.
"take off your shoes ,
this is holy ground."
as i walk in the footprints of long ago.
i can hear the thoughts of those before.
before my birth,
and my father's birth,
and my grandmother's birth.
from this piece of earth.
i can feel the mirth.
alabama soil.
beneath my feet.
face to face.
my past i greet.
home again,
one more time.
kiss the pain of my growing up.
hug the day that I went away.
home again,
one more time.
face to face,
with that wayward child.
that dreamed of places far from here.
where country roads disappear.
but still, there's an echo in my head.
and it's of the words,
that moses heard.

by A.M.Cruise
i hear your heart in the night
it speaks to me with silent words
and yet it's the only thing that touches my ears
your voice
Shall I tell you my true feelings,
or the lies that make you happy?
We talk in circles around the fringes of our lives.
Last Kiss
This is the last night I can give my love.
This is the last thought I can have
as you being the one I dream of.
