Super Smash Brothers brawl tips and tricks

very useful for dealing damage and recovering. The A attacks also deal damage, but they are mostly used for finishing moves known as Smash attacks.

When you tap A and a direction, you will begin to charge. After a few seconds, your character will do some kind of attack that deals a lot of damage in one hit and sends opponents flying. I would recommend checking your control scheme if there are quick Smash attacks already programmed to the controller, such as the C-stick on the Gamecube and the right analog stick on the Classic. The Wii-mote and Nunchuk can be changed to have quick Smash attacks as the D-pad at the top of the Wii-mote. Learn to use your Smash attacks wisely. If you overuse them, people will block or dodge you then use their attacks on you, and if you under use them, you won't get any kills.

There are thirty-six characters in Brawl, and all of them have their strengths and weaknesses. Although some may say that you can be good with anyone, there are some fatal flaws to each character that can be exploited by advanced players that you may want to stay away from. There is so much variety that there is no reason to use someone who has a fatal flaw. Kirby for example, has a very well rounded move-set, but is very vulnerable after using his Down-B move that turns him into stone. Other characters also have weak recovering moves or other weaknesses. Advanced players can usually find ways around their characters weaknesses such as staying away from a certain move playing on certain stages, but if you are a beginner, try out characters in Training mode to point out weaknesses.

Practice these moves whenever you can to improve your skills. I suggest Training mode for experimentation with new characters and to see which moves do which amounts of damage. Then once you know your move-set, execute it in regular Brawl mode against one or two high-leveled computer players. Having four players on screen will not fully allow you to focus on fighting one person but you will have to focus on three other players trying to kill you while you are trying to execute a certain combo. When determining the level of the computer, go down for nine and then find the level that you cannot always beat, but that you don't feel completely overwhelmed by their skill. Work your way up to level nine fighters and when you feel that they are no longer challenging, try playing online if you have that option. Also try to stay away from using too many items while you practice because these aren't a show of skill but merely good luck if you manage to get a Hammer to spawn in front of you.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl is the best multi-player game on the Wii right now without a doubt. Everything about the game is geared to be played with friends and you will see this when you pop the game in with a group of friends around. They say time flies when you are having fun, but playing Smash Bros is like entering a time warp.

If you follow these tips to the letter and practice, you to can be a Smash Master.
