US presidential elections 2008: Presidential candidate pros and cons

There are many pros and cons about Barack Obama, as to whether or not he has any experience in foreign affairs, or if he even understands what is going on in the world.
Considering the fact that he spent some of his younger years in the far east and has a very good understanding of the people and the way they think, actually, gives him a finer edge than his opponents who only seem to know how to start and fight wars. Might it not be better to know how to prevent, rather than have to fight wars? Without a doubt, Obama is more in tune with the world than others in the 2008 race.

There has been all kinds of accusations of Obama being Muslim, which has proved not to be true, but he, undoubtedly, has a better understanding of them than his competition. Hate between the races and religions has been caused by a lot of misunderstandings on both sides. How better to confront the problem than to understand the problem. Barack Obama grew up poor and having a feel for both sides of the problem. He understands the situation and has a feel for the "Have nots", as the writer Ernest Hemingway described the poor.
Recently, there has been too much rhetoric and hate mongering, concerning the fact that Obama is half black, but the color of a man's skin has nothing to do with with what is in his heart. Beneath the surface, except for politics and associations, we are all the same and all reside on the same planet, or as some may say, swim in the same pond. If something isn't done soon to clean up this pond, we are all going to perish from our own poisons. Pride and prejudice only creates a wedge between peoples of the world. We need to move past these blind spots.
Recently, a lot of individuals has come forward to supposedly support Obama's historic run for the White House, but too often it has turned into the person's own debut and wrong things are said, only inflaming matters, to the point that they are harming his chances and leaving him in a bad light. Unfortunately, we cannot always being hold accountable for what others say, only whether or not we agree with them. Some things have to be taken with a grain of salt, and move on to more important issues; Like saving the country from total chaos, foreign or domestic.
Aside from all the other issues, I think that Barack Obama is a man with a good heart and without a doubt loves the United States of America and will do whatever he can to save it and its people. It is time to change course and set sail for new and more harmonious horizons.
