If you one of those people who have some information that any political, diplomatic, religious statement, order or command given by any Muslim cleric, politician or a beard dude like Osama Bin Laden considered to be a fatwa or you having believe that any such person at least has his right in Islam to declare a fatwa, then certainly you are living in the world of ignorant about Islam.

The western world and their representative media should have to understand very well that declaring a fatwa is not the field of a common Muslim cleric, Imam of a mosque, religious man and also it is not the ethical or religious duty of every Muslim to declare a fatwa on behalf of Islam or his state.

Being a complete religion and a well established way of life, Islam has set some rules and regulation that must be honored before declaring a fatwa or clarifies the position of Islam on any issue, dispute and problem. Fatwa is a legal ruling in Islam and it is only declared by an authorized person called Mufti. Mufti must be appointed by state and same time approved by a well renowned religious institution. Meanwhile, when a big situation arises in a form of complex or conflicting issue then a "Council of Muftis" will solve out this issue and declare a fatwa as according to the pre established method and criteria constituted in the teaching of Islam.

Any one who is not legitimately authorized by a well known religious institution or state can not to be a Mufti whether he has very comprehensive knowledge about the Islam, its teaching, rules and regulation or about the declaration of a fatwa. Also, any such declaration would not be considered a fatwa by Islam, which is being declared by violating the established criteria and method about the declaration of a fatwa.

I don't think so that any legitimate fatwa declared by any authorized person (a mufti) like the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia or any Islamic institution like Jamia Al Azhar (Egypt) can fuel extremism in the world. The declaring of fatwa means to explain and clarify the pre established position of Islam on any given issue or given problems. Nothing else, that's all.

There is a need of awareness among people to fully understand about the real teachings of Islam. What are being produced these days in World's media especially in electronic is the stereotype image of Islam which is not true and far from the reality. People often go on analyses of Islam without realizing the correct and legitimate position of Islam on any issue. Western media often go to criticize and blame Islam deliberately for such activities which does not includes in the teaching of Islam.
