Lets face it, quality performance at work requires all your wit and candor. When the copy machine takes more than you have, it takes away from your potential. Broken copy machines and printers can really wreck you day at work and worse than that: decrease your effectiveness. Many companies, as well as schools, are going paperless. They are using technology to supplant what paper traditionally did. This definitely has its advantages and should be examined as a preferable alternative.
No one would argue how great it feels to have a crisp, stapled presentation ready stacked flush on your desk ready to deliver. It's even better when the print actually closes the deal.
But that is not usually the case. More often than not, paper creates more problems than it solves. There are alternatives that can serve the same purpose. If you knew what they were, would you be willing to check them out?
Presentation software has grown exponentially since the late 90's. It gives the presenter astate-of-the-art tool to deliver a message to an audience. All of it happens without using one page of paper. Animations, vibrant colors, graphs and images all form a canvas that makes archaic paper presentations quite obsolete. The presentation becomes entertaining instead of mundane. Innovation takes the place of the ordinary. All this gets done without jams at the copier or the flash of the "needs toner" light. Software has revolutionized the way companies communicate both in-house and with their clients.
It's a new era and with it has come new technology for business. The days of using reams of paper to get a job done are over. Through presentation software and an ever-growing arsenal of digital tools, any company can go paperless with a little desire and a willingness to break away from the ways of old.
