I learned how to make this wreath as a child and never forgot how. It is so simple anyone can do it. It requires only a few items to make. All you need is a wire hanger, tissue paper (in the colors of your choice) and time. The first thing you need to do is take the wire hanger and shape into a circle. The next step is to take the pack of tissue paper,(keeping it folded)and cut it into strips. Once you have that done, cut one end of the folded strips to make long single strips. One package of tissue paper should be enough. Take a tissue paper strip, place it (at its fold) against the wire hanger facing out. Gently twist the tissue paper strip so it stays secure on the hanger. Push each secured strip tightly against the previous strip as you go along. Continue in the same manner, alternating the direction the strips are placed to obtain the "full" look. Thats all there is to it! You just continue on until the whole wire hanger is covered in these strips and you will have one beautiful, simple and full wreath! Use one color or chose several colors and alternate. These wreaths are good for any time of the year. For fall use orange red and brown, for Christmas green red and/or white. You can even shape the hanger into a heart for Valentine's Day and give it to a loved one. If you find it difficult to bend the wire hanger, a pair of pliers can do the trick, just don't put too much pressure on the wire hanger with the pliers to avoid breaking. Be creative and use a glitter glue pen to add "ornaments" to a Christmas wreath or take leaves and attach them to a fall wreath. Once you get the craft down you can do anything that your imagination thinks of!
