Ten deadly beauty sins

I have devised a list of ten most common beauty sins. Of course this is only a matter of opinion. Still I feel woman would not be doing a disservice by following a few.

1. The wrong smell

The problem with perfumes is that you can get too used to the smell and end up dousing yourself with far too much. Ever heard the expression less is more, well this is a good case where overpowering could damage the beauty effect. I firmly believe there is a time and place for using perfumes and if you work any where in the public I strongly recommend discretion. There are people who are actually quite sensitive to perfumes and contrary to belief; a person can have a reaction without actually having a whiff of a strong solution. The slightest dose can in fact trigger an asthma attack.

Body odor is another area of discussion. People do not always smell them selves so it is important to have a proper cleaning regiment, this means a daily shower or bath. DO NOT think that you can hide body odor with perfume, sometimes an even more powerful brew can arise from the mixture of perfume and body odor.

2. Unkempt finger nails

You don't have to have beautiful nails but the ones you are born with must at least look cared for. Nails for the most part should be trimmed every few weeks and filed to prevent tears and cracking. Always clean under the nails daily. As there is a possibility of picking up bacteria and viruses, plus dirty nails do look disgusting. Nail polish is an option to good looking nails. Unless you are going out it is not necessary to have really colorful nails. It is best to pick colors that match the skin tone, unless you want to contend with chipped nails on a daily basis.

3. Feet put last

Cracked dry and callused feet are not very aesthetically pleasing to the eye; however there are ways to combat the condition of the ugly foot syndrome. First of all it is important to shed away dead skin. For this you will require one of those pumice stones or an ex-foliating brush. If you soak your feet in Epsom salts and water your task will be made easier. The solution will soften your skin and make it far easier to sand out the rough spots. Next you must moisturize. There are a variety of types on the market, but if all fails use moisturizer you would use on your hands. It is best to slather the lotion on before you go to bed, but to retain the moisture, I recommend buying moisture lock socks. You can buy them at wal-mart in the beauty section or any drug store.

4. Adult acne
