Celebrities busted for DUIs:

This seems an all too easy target to write about. Celebrities in Hollywood, and other celebrities, especially in the sports news, seem to get arrested for drinking under the influence more often than a baby is born in this country. They may not always get the punishment another person, with a non-celebrity status would, but they do seem to keep going. I guess they take a thirty day leave to a fancy rehab, usually and it looks as if their career blooms. They become the hero who overcame his/hers addiction, only to find they are off the wagon later in their lives, a couple of months down the road.

Well, you want them, you got them:

*Daniel Dae Kim- Lost-arrested on last December 27th

*Michelle Rodriguez- Lost- arrested last December 23rd. supposedly spent 180 days in jail.

*Lindsay Lohan-DUI and Drugs

*Rebecca DeMornay-DUI-3 Year Probation

*Nicole Ritchie-DUI

*Jim Leyritz- a New York Yankee ran a red light and hit a car. The woman in the other car did die.

*Mischa Barton-arrested on December 27th. She also was arrested for having pot and pills in her posse ion. Also on March 7th. She also has a sister who has done a rehab stint in the past. Also Barton arrested for drugs and DUI on Feb. 27th. Feb 26th, charged with DUI and pot possession.

*Danielle Fishel-DUI

*Paris Hilton-DUI

*Jessica Smith- while in a wreck. The other passenger suffered minor injuries.

*Kristin Storms- All My Children-DUI

*Ty Pennington-Extreme Make over-DUI

*Keifer Sutherland,-24- spent time in jail-48 days-DUI

*Dawn Wells,-Mary Ann of Gilligan's Island arrested for DUI and reckless driving.-March 11

*Amanda Overmyer- arrested for DUI-Feb.28th-March 11th

*Jessica Simpson-DUI

*Perez Hilton-DUI- March 6, along with Heroin possession

*Barron Hilton-brother of Paris-DUI-March 6th-DUI also on Feb.22, when he thought jail food was not up to par by the way.

*Gummi Bear- Gummie Bear- arrested for DUI and heroin possession-March 7th

*Jason Davis and Barron Hilton-arrested March 6th, for DUI and having cocaine.

*Pablo Montero-arrested for DUIs and multiple other DUIs. Court ordered him to rehab in Mexico. March 4th.

*Mindy McCreedy- while watching her own interview of drinking and drug abuse at a bar, was arrested for a DUI, battery and illegal prescription drugs

*Scott Weiland DUI, Spent 28 days in rehab

*Ashanti, (new I.D.) Inmate #03529480- Feb. 26th-DUI and Drug possession.

*Josh Booty-sports cater for fox- arrested on Feb 14 for DUI.

*Redmond O'Neal, son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal,-arrested for DUI and drug possession on Feb 13th and January 26th.

*Mel Gibson- DUI

The list continues, mostly in repeats of the same offenders. They keep drinking and driving, or using the illegal drugs they keep in their possession. In the end celebrities do get priority over their crimes. Most never see much jail time, if any. And they seem to not care if they get caught or not. It is just a sad state of what we all keep up with in this country, when we spend out time checking on other's mistakes.
