Norton 360, All-In-One-Security, by Symantec is the most comprehensive personal computer automated protection software on the market. This year, it won the prestigious Editor's Choice award by PC Magazine and CNET. This top software protection program comes with one full year automated protection, including daily security updates that can be used on three separate personal computers, in a single household.

Norton 360 will operate on your personal computer running with a 300 Megahertz processor or higher, a minimum of 256 of RAM memory, and a hard drive of at least 300 megabytes. Norton 360 works in both Windows XP and Windows Vista environments. Some additional product features require a high speed Internet connection.

For the computer novice, Norton 360 clearly is ready made for you. Simply load the computer disk into your cd-rom drive and follow the automated instructions. You will be asked to provide your product key (found on the outside of the white envelope package containing your software), which allows you to install the software on three personal computers. The program will soon finish loading and then ask you to activate the product on-line over the Internet. Norton 360, All-In-One-Security then creates a desktop icon that informs you of your computer's safety level. One of their best features is the constant visual level of computer protection. The Norton 350 with a green check mark signifies that your computer is fully protected, yellow means that your attention is necessary and an appropriate response is required; while red means that your system is not protected. Simply double click on the Norton 360 icon and you will be immediately linked to one of their four indicators (PC Security, Transaction Security, Backup and Restore, and PC Tuneup). By clicking on the details link (lower left of each indicator) a sub-menu will open up, allowing you complete system knowledge of the items and status for your computer. The status of all indicators is color coded and details, such as date last run are provided. The computer constantly searches for the latest software updates and stays fully optimized, allowing your computer to run at superior performance levels. In the past, you would have had to run system scans independently and optimize the hard drive for optimal performance. With Norton 360, you can schedule the numerous scans and optimizations to run while you are away from your computer, or sleeping.
