to comedian Jimmy Fallon) is the rocker for this season. He is 25 years old and seems to be extremely artistic. He doesn't seem to care what people think and is just doing what he loves to do. He will probably land in the top 3, but like Daughtry, he may not be seen as a pop idol which will be the reason he doesn't win. He is a real musician and will definitely have a lucrative career.

Ramiele Malubay (20 years old) and Syesha Mercado (21 years old) will probably not make it to the end but they can definitely sing. They can sing just about any song without going out of key yet they don't seem to be very creative. In other words, as long as they have a song writer they will make a decent career in making a few pop hits.

Brooke White, who is one of the older contestants at age 24, is probably the most artistic out of all of the women competing. She lacks charisma though. She lacks connecting with the audience which is going to hurt her if she doesn't improve and I don't know if you can improve something like that. She has a folksy/country style that makes her a little different than the others.

David Hernandez and Carly Smithson both have experienced controversy about their past. David who is 24 years old and lives in Arizona apparently used to be a stripper for a gay club. I was wondering why he seemed to ooze sex appeal despite his average looks. Smithson had a record deal that apparently fell through before trying out for Idol. These two can definitely sing, but there's really no originality with them. Hernandez may be voted out within the next couple of weeks unless he tries to explore on his sex appeal a little more. Smithson seems to annoy me for some reason. I can't put my finger on it, but I find it irritating that she keeps wearing clothing that emphasizes her big colorful tattoo on her right arm. It is really ugly and I can't keep from looking at it as week after week she shows it by wearing short sleeved blouses. She also has this habit to make a certain expression when she is getting ready to hit a high note and it is simply ugly to me. I know I am being a little picky but there's just something odd about this girl.

Chickezie is one of my favorites. I love this guy's personality and ability to entertain. His voice isn't the best, but I think people will keep him in due to his charisma. He always has a smile on his face no matter how Simon criticizes him.

Michael Johns is the oldest contestant at 29 years old. He holds a resemblance to the late singer Michael Hutchence. They are both from Australia as well. Johns voice isn't as strong but I do believe his sexiness will keep him longer than expected. He has a larger sex appeal than Hernandez, but doesn't seem to realize it. When he does, watch out ladies. My prediction is that he will probably come in fourth.

Christy Lee Cook (24 years old) and Jason Castro (20 years old) are two that will probably go within the next two weeks. They both can sing, but Cook's country style is already covered by White. She seems to always pick the wrong songs for her voice despite her beautiful tone. Castro seems to be appealing to a lot of the young girls and I don't know why. He is just too pretty to be a man. The hair is awful too. How can I listen to his voice when I am too busy analyzing his dreadlocks? I start wondering how does he clean it. Does he ever cut it? Are they extensions? I'm just lost in the hair that I don't pay attention to his singing much. He is the folk singer in the competition, but again, White can cover that too.
