Poetry: About friendship

Gabrielle and Johnny

Gabrielle liked to be different
She was teased for her opinions
Laughed at for her clothes
But she knew she was special
Destined to be great

She knew she would succeed in her dreams
She knew better than all those bully's
That she would make it through and be the one
She would become a dairy farmer

Johnny knew he was not all there
Picked on for his strangeness
Pushed for his geeky laugh
Drove to breaking point

But he knew he would succeed
Do the awesome deed
To create new life from nothing
To create a future for all those who had brought him down

Gabrielle and Johnny were not so different
They both had ambitious dreams
Gabrielle dreamed someday shed meet someone
Who understood her needs

Well Johnny girls they scared him
He was too shy to even say their name
But round Gabrielle he felt different
As if their friendship was already made

Well Gabrielle and Johnny
They got on well
Laughed at the bully's faces
When they drove them all to hell.
