A Feeling Inside

It's a chance to be someone in some other's eyes..
A time to rethink before telling of lies..
The strength that's derived from speaking your mind..
A chance of a lifetime that's so hard to find..

There's a person whos wishes include your well being..
That someone who's trying to see what you're seeing..
It's the joy that you feel when your spaces are shared..
And it's going to bed knowing somebody cared..

All persons should know it, this feeling I feel..
There isn't a heartache that love couldn't heal..
To know that you'll be there as lover and friend..
And not to be lonely when life nears it's end..

There's so much to thank you for, Baby I swear..
I want you to know that I love you and care..
Keep being the person you are and have been..
'Cause I'm honored and proud to be your best friend!
