It could be a new reality television show: "Celebrities busted for DUIs". Just think of all the famous people who have been arrested lately for a DUI and how they have been drunkenly displayed on TV. It could make a great reality TV show that would be entertaining and gross at the same time. Lately, some celebrities have become better known for their mishaps than for their great acting abilities. Celebrities are getting arrested so often, they are splayed across the television screen looking seriously unkempt, and incoherent as they get their mug pictures taken.

Here are twelve of the many famous celebs that have been bsuted for DUIs.

1. Paris Hilton is famous for her beautiful smile as well as for getting arrested for DUI back in 2006. With Paris Hilton getting arrested for DUI in 2006, and serving jail time for driving with a suspended license, having a live-in lawyer is a must for this family.

2 By the time her brother, Barron Hilton was arrested in February, in Malibu, Mom and Dad probably just shrugged their shoulders and said something like, "Kids, what can you do?"

3. Actress Lindsay Lohan was arrested for DUI in May of 2007 and was also charged with suspected cocaine possession. In the meantime Lohan has cleaned up her act after doing a stint in rehab.

4. Nicole Ritchie, daughter of singer, Lionel Ritchie and a reality TV celebrity in her own right, was charged with DUI. In the meantime Nicole shrugged off her former partying lifestyle by getting married and having a baby.

5. The dishonor list keeps rolling. Extreme Makeover Home Edition star, Ty Pennington was arrested for DUI in May of 2007.

6. Actress Rebecca DeMornay who once tempted Tom Cruise in the movie, "Risky Business", got caught in October of 2007.

7. Actor Mickey Rourke, who once starred in, "Barfly", was arrested in Miami Beach for drunkenly driving a scooter.

8. We all know Mel Gibson went out in a big way with his arrest back in 2006. He was pulled over by the police because he was speeding, and soon after he was arrested for DUI. While in the back seat of the police cruiser he decided to hurl some alleged anti-semantic remarks and his career screeched to a halt.

9. "24" television star, Kiefer Sutherland was arrested in September of 2007 on what was thought to be his second DUI, when he made an illegal u-turn. Later on, police discovered that he had at least three prior DUI arrests, and he had to serve jail time in California, disrupting the filming of the "24" series.

10. "Lost" television star, Daniel Dae Kim could have been lost in Hawaii when he was arrested for driving under the influence. Former "O.C." star, Mischa Barton was busted for DUI, for the possession of illegal narcotics and driving without a valid license in December last year.

11. Even the 43rd President of the United States, George W. Bush was arrested for a DUI. Back in 1976 he was arrested for a DUI in Maine that he pled guilty to.

12. Nick Nolte was arrested in September of 2002 when the California Highway Patrol spotted him weaving across lanes and into oncoming traffic. He was arrested in Malibu and had his face splayed across the Internet for the world to view. He was fined $500 and did a 90 day treatmetn program.

That's just the tip of the iceberg; there are many more celebrities who have been busted for DUI's. The list is of celebrities being arrested fro DUIs is endless. Just makes you wonder how many more will make the list next year.
