Reincarnation
Jada Molton
Such a simplicity,
such a basic design,
I feel I'm falling in love,
for the very first time.
No more than I lay down,
and whisper your name,
I hear you speaking,
denouncing my shame.
All of the candles,
all of the evening splendor,
has captured me,
begged of me,
forget what you remember.
All of my life I've been fighting this fear,
a hole in my chest,
that screams "Listen to me dear!"
I want to believe,
I know you and your touch, for it is real,
all of the kisses,
I melt in your appeals.
My Lover, my friend,
my light in all the fury,
know I have my past,
but the future you cannot hurry.
What is meant to be shall surely manifest,
my love, your summer rain,
through it all,
we shall live again.
