Desperation

There are times when we all feel the desperation that overwhelming
sense of panic, of fear that grips us. We don't even know what we are
desperate about. We just want things to happen right now, right away
and thats it thats all. Were desperation can get the better of us, it
can get to us big time if we allow it. For we all have control of our
emotions, we can't let them get too far. I know there were times when

I was desperate, especially when I didn't want to wait. When I was so
impatient, then I had to slow down. To tell myself what was I in such
a hurry for, so desperate to try and get everything done all at once.
Then I knew that there was another day, that I had to do things little
by little. I could put it all in a bottle like a genie and not let it
out were it would suffocate me. I couldn't breathe, panic would set
in and take over. You didn't know what was going on with you only the
feeling the desperation of it all. Desperation is something that makes
us do rash things, makes us want to not do the right thing. Then we know
that we have to slow down, we have to take it easy, so that we can take
a deep breathe let it out, let go and breathe easy again.
When we breathe easy when can let out our breathe that we've been
holding in. The emotions that we've been suppressing we can realese
them, let them go. For desperation can hit you full force, it can leave
you feeling utterly hopeless, looking for something to make you feel more
normal. You want to feel normal you don't want to feel like a weirdo, like
something that is going crazy all over the place. You've got to take it
easy, take things slow, and know which way you want to go. You don't want
to let desperation take hold, for then your not in control of your own-
self. For desperation can break us, it can lead us down to something that
we have no control over. When we are desperate it will play with your
head, it will make you think crazy thoughts.
With desperation we've got to be careful, got to be cautious, we can't
let it consume us, or it will drive us around the bend. When we have that
desperation when we are in a panic then we take it to God. We tell him,
okay let this work out, let me not worry, give it to God. Then we aren't
so desperate, we aren't feeling so crazy. I know that when we are desperate
it hurts the other person. We might not think that it does, but if your a
sensitive soul like I am, it can do more damage. Then you've got to let go
of the desperation, and you've got to tell yourself that you don't need to
be that way anymore, as you have God in your life. For he will take that
desperation away, and he will make you feel more normal, more like yourself.
Were desperation won't be there and God will remove it as surely as he will
let the sun rise and the sun set.
