Governor Spitzer was appropriately noun-labeled for the crash and burning of a reformer in office-let us hope that Mr. Cuomo does not follow a similar melt-down in the spotlight. Savonarola was not the first to burn out rather than fade away, and Robespierre also found the Committee of Public Safety a difficult position to occupy-being head chopped himself in time. If public reformer would just choose to advocate evil and corruption, filth and sloth from the start perhaps they could avoid such difficulties-yet we are better people than that, and cheer these guys while they are out victimizing rich globalists and withhold too much booing when they become snared in the pitfalls of political and public tragedy that sometimes affect us all.
