MANAGING CHILD CARE

At some point in just about every parent's life, you will have need for childcare. Even if you don't have a full time or a part time job you may need to attend a PTA meeting, or your friends may all be getting together for "girls night out". The kind of daycare you choose can be determine from a number of factors including:

- How often you need childcare?

- How many additional "services" do you want?
- How many hours do you need childcare for?
- Do your children have any special needs?

Answering these questions will immediately cancel out a few childcare options, and will help you to focus on which services will be right for your specific needs.

Babysitters are generally private individuals who have the time and resources available to watch from one to four children. Most state guidelines set limits on the number of children a person can "baby sit" before they become classified as a child care service, and those limits on number of children are reduced further if the children are babies.

However it doesn't have to be that way if parents perform the necessary due diligence, they can choose a provider that is both trustworthy and professional.

There are a number of options available to obtain a Nanny in the California area. The key is to make sure that all candidates not only have experience and qualifications, but that they've also passed an extensive background check which typically includes criminal, social security verification, DMV records, education, and professional references.

One of the easiest ways to make sure the entire Nanny screening process is covered, one option is to seek the services of one of the many Nanny Placement service organizations in California. These organizations pre-screen Nanny candidates extensively simply because their own reputation is on the line. This
