Moving to the Superbowl: 2007 AFC and NFC championships

Why does the Super Bowl suck? If you're a football fan you're certainly slightly angry that your sports greatest day is being bad mouthed. Although, after some thought you'll agree as well. The Super Bowl sucks because it doesn't include YOU, the fan, the person that buys tickets, the guy that sits in front of the television screaming at the screen, instead it includes big wigs, and people who don't care about the sport, never mind the game. Take for example the CFL, and it's championship game, The Grey Cup, certainly not as exciting sounding as the Super Bowl, but the game and atmosphere itself is electric. For John Q Public it's impossible to get tickets to the Super Bowl, and those who do get them, often have to give up on a childs college dream to get them. With The Grey Cup every fan has access. Take the Super Bowl festivities, a whole bunch of events 'for the fan'. Sure, if you want to wait in line for a day or two, and alot of the big name events are VIP only. Not with The Grey Cup, all of the events are accessible, and they're fan friendly, they just don't try to make that image. Now, have a look at the game itself, a Super Bowl crowd is full of suits, guys who don't care about the game, or know what's going on. Instead, they're more concerned about who else is there, and who they can shmooze with. Grey Cup games are full of fans, so many fans, that it puts a lot of the suits off of the idea of going to the game. Wouldn't you enjoy the Super Bowl more if it was made more accessible? If you felt part of the game? If you didn't have to lose the house to get a ticket? I don't know how many reporters and writers, both Canadian and American, say that they prefer the CFL's big day to that of the NFL's, I do know that they don't stand alone, and pretty soon the NFL will begin to take notice too.
