Cool haircuts for men

Many of the catwalk styles this year are achievable in real life and practical though trying to achieve them with the wrong thickness or curl of the hair gives disappointing results and I have itemized below the styles that are current and that work for the different hair types and also the different environments that men live within, since this has a great bearing on how they present themselves.

*Casual

OFFIC E.

The acceptably traditional look shown on the catwalks of Milan and Paris gave hope to men that sport short back and sides styles. Gone is the stigma that these are old fashioned, and in fact many of these styles are back in vogue and go very nicely with traditional suits or casual work-wear, without taking away the element of style.

The cuts now include innovative use of partings and the choice of parting is a very individual choice, though using a parting as a statement and having the larger side of the hair longer works very well indeed, producing a classic look reminiscent of the roaring twenties, though blending well with the new fashionable looks in suits and jackets.

These styles suit the man with a good volume of hair, and fine hair is better cut into a controllable style with a more traditional all over shortness to keen that fine hair in trim. One option that is available this year and that doesn't look dated for uncontrollable hair is the smooth look where the hair has gel applied to it and is combed back away from the face.

CASUAL

Casual got very adventurous this year, with the hand through the hair look of disarray added a touch of rebellion to the traditional male cut. This can be achieved with the styles mentioned above, and what is cool about this is that during the week, the hair can look smart with the suit, but that the length is long enough to take that casual appearance for the weekend, paying less attention to pristine grooming, and more to producing a boy like look that goes well with casual clothing.

Hair types.

The kind of style a man can carry depends very much upon the type of hair, and talking to a stylist would be a good idea to establish what styles are available for the hair type. Many stylists carry catalogs of ideas and it is not thought to be unmasculine to discuss styling with the hair stylist these days, and recognized that men want to look stylish and fashionable.

Fine hair is best kept under control, and the longer styles may be a bad idea for fine hair that will lose it's shape easily and become straggly in appearance.
