6) Take a virtual break.
Sometimes the news is more negative than informative. We are constantly bombarded with troubling images daily of wars, natural disasters, tragedies, and suffering.
Take some time for quiet reflection by disconnecting from the television, internet, and radio. Cell phones and Blackberry's may have you hooked, but you can do without gadgets for a while.
7) Being with nature.
Spending time outdoors rejuvenates the soul. Have you ever taken a long walk through a botanical garden, rainforest, or hiking trail? Notice how tend you move at a slower, more relaxed pace. Nature has a way of helping us reconnect with ourselves as we absorb the beauty of our surroundings.
