female vocals, sung I think in Gaelic. Share the darkness' is a love song and one that will appeal particularly to people who are in love and are longing for that other special person to reciprocate.

He final song that I'm going to highlight on this fine little album is the closing one, Clare island'. Clare island is an island off the coast of County Mayo (adjacent to County Galway). Mayo (and Galway) sits on the west coast of Ireland looking out towards America. The coastline is sensationally rugged and beautiful and you're more likely to encounter sheep rather than other cars on the small winding roads. As is befitting of such a beautiful corner of the world, this song is a tranquil gem, contrasting nicely with the more rugged rocky swagger of much of the rest of the album. Will you meet me on Clare island? / the summer stars are in the sky / get the ferry out from Roonagh / and wave all our cares goodbye. / And we'll go dancing at the ceilidh / we'll go kissing on the strand / take our clothes off in the moonlight / skinny dipping hand in hand'. It's a nice relaxed way for the album to end and makes me want to make another trip to that part of the world!
