not seen in Palettes of Vision.
If victorian arts does not appeal to you, then besides Palettes of Vision there is still several websites from the great artist Thomas Kinkade. His work is terrific. I have posted a few posts about him and his works at my blogs, No Place Like Home, I Am Peace and Arts Inspiration.
This painter of light, Thomas Kinkade, offers at least 5 websites where you can see his great masterpieces. You can see his links at my blog I Am Peace (http://whoispeace.blogspot.co m/2006/11/i-love-thomas-kinkad e.html). If you are a lover of inspirational arts, there's a variety of his work, from structures like bridges, cottages to nature like gardens and so on. There are sculptures and collectibles too. This definitely offers you more variety and with a few websites all of different 'presentation', one of them will definitely suit your taste.
With these handful of websites of Thomas Kinkade, he has a lot more to offer in terms of varieties. In terms of being 'user friendly' I would find Palettes of Vision being 'easy to use' - there isn't much clicking to be done, hence, searching for a picture is faster. However, this is limited to only victorian arts and there are no sculptures or collectibles and things like that, which Thomas kinkade websites could offer.
Thomas Kinkade websites, communicate well with the art lover or 'readers' to the site. New features, new master pieces and new events are 'announced' or conveyed to the audience, in addition to a note about the artist. For real arts collector, your framing needs are taken into consideration as well.
Which is a better website, Thomas Kinkade or Palettes of Vision, when I am looking for victorian arts, I choose Palettes of Vision (http://www.palettesofvision.c om/sitemap_main1.html). When I am searching for inspirational cottages paintings I would go for Thomas Kinkade (http://www.kinkadecentral.com /). When I am searching for inspirational sculptures and collectibles, I would go for Thomas Kinkade, the Prince of Peace. I love his sculpture of Prince Of Peace.
