Poetry: Confused by love

The life we share together,
Our eyes meet and our hands touch,
Our time we give, but a secret is must stay,
You give your love to someone else,
But yet we feel the same?

Confusion is what I see, my soul is entwined,
Vines of love strap my heart in an unlockable cage,
You are there with him, and I am here alone;
Yet, you call me and you want to see me,
Like I want to see you, to hold you, to kiss you,
To be with you.

My life is yours but yours is his,
Yet we feel the same?
He breaks your heart, he makes you sad,
But a moment with me and life is grand,
Perfection; I make you feel like you should,
Happy, beautiful, courageous; ready to face the world!

Confusion is what I see, my soul is entwined,
Entwined with yours my darling, but why aren't you with me?
