Presidential Elections 2008

US elections 2008: Remembering the Democratic presidential candidates who dropped out

Imagine this: HELP WANTED-Individual who has ability to take charge, is organized, good with people, bilingual preferred (Arabic especially). America is looking for a person who can come in and figure out where his predecessor left off, and start picking up the broken piece from there. Someone who has the ability to rebuild confidence, relationships, and finance.

If this were really an add, wouldn't you imagine with all those requirements the person would have to have experience and or training in specific areas? I would. That's why I have no clue how my neighbors, my fellow Americans, voters from coast to coast came to decide on the two who had the least to offer on their resumes for the Democrats. I thought for sure they would have picked one of the following:

Joe Biden - Personable SENIOR Senator been in the business since 1973, has been a member and is now the CHAIRMAN of the Foreign Relations Committee and the Judiciary Committee. He is on the following subcommittees:

* Subcommittee on Antitrust Competition Policy and Consumer Rights
* Subcommittee on Crime and Drugs, (Chairman)
* Subcommittee on Human Rights and the Law
* Subcommittee on Immigration Border Security and Citizenship
* Subcommittee on Technology Terrorism and Homeland Security
Caucus on International Narcotics Control (Co-Chairman)

I would say that Joseph Biden has the kind of experience America needs to fix some of the problems created over the past decade. Wouldn't you?

Bill Richardson - Specialty is working with difficult people, like Fidel Castro. Currently the Governor of New Mexico, previous job titles: U.S. Representative, Ambassador to the United Nations, and as the U.S. Secretary of Energy.

SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS: Richardson has been recognized for negotiating the release of hostages, American servicemen, and political prisoners in North Korea, Iraq, and Cuba.

To me, this guy is exactly what we need. We are having an oil war and he once ran the Energy Department, Bush has alienated the U.S. from the U.N. and who could better mend the hurts he caused, than the former Ambassador himself? The man can convince leaders like Kim, Hussein, and Castro to turn loose our citizens who they have held prisoners? I'd be telling my secretary, get this guy in here for an interview and schedule my day around his!

Chris Dodd is another democrat with years of experience as a senator.

What I want all Americans to remember about
