Let's Just Roll Over and Take It
Going from a democracy to communism in 1 little step

Government-run anything is a bad idea, just think about it for a moment; you are ill, very

ill, you need to be in the hospital when you get there for care you find that you are not

ill enough, there are hundreds of patients ahead of you that are worse off, do you go to the

next hospital and hope that your illness is worse than that guy bleeding from both eyes? Or

do you sign the waiting list and go on home to suffer?

Our government is not the best at saving money and spending wisely; they give their funds to

things like the research of tiny headphones for birds. Let me see, yeah, that was a good

waste of money.

And so many Americans are just ready to hand over our Healthcare system, one of the best in

the world to the bureaucrats' who run our government? Are you all completely insane? Look

at the value of the US Dollar globally, check out how many Canadians die waiting their turn

for an operation, and while you're at it, let's start a line for toilet paper and coffee

beans.

I for one do not wish nor do I expect for anyone to pay my way in this world other than the

man that I married and it's his job, not Joe Anonymous whom I've never even met! John Q.

made my heart break and I thought that the doctors in that hospital should have done

everything possible to save that child's life, including giving their services for free, but

that was one case; a rarity that we are not likely to see often enough, and there are places

for sick children whose parents cannot afford the costs of their treatments: St. Jude's

hospital is my all-time favorite charity and has been since I was a small child. The Ronald

McDonald house is another. Children's Hospitals never turn away a child in need.

Adults, well, we should pay our own freight. The cost of healthcare can be so high that even

we cannot afford it, and that's when we need to rally around one another and raise funds and

do what we need to do to help our fellow man out; but to ask Uncle Sam to fit the bill for

all American's healthcare is ridiculous.

And my Father and I had to rely on the Government when I was a young girl for groceries, to

help pay our bills and other things. It left a sour taste in my proud Father's mouth to have

to stoop so low as to ask for a handout like that and I fully understand why.

Pride is a Sin; yet when it is your pride that must go the way of the dinosaur, you will know

the suffering of not being able to provide for yourself, your children and your wife, when it

is you asking for that handout and you will then know that sin or no, your pride has been

dealt a dangerous blow.

No, Government run healthcare is a terrible idea; it is the proverbial snowball that will

gather us all in as it rolls downhill growing ever bigger until there is no us, just them.

And when the money is gone? Where shall we be then?
