There is a law of God that says, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" The proper understanding is that that which you do or do not do for others will come back upon you. Allowing the environment in places like Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Rwanda to become corrupted and defiled would mean that either we did not care about the people there or we did not understand the consequences of what was happening there.
Many times the wars that are happening in Africa are the result of one group of people wanting to become like the rest of the world and another group of people recognizing the danger in it and God's command not to take on the culture of others.
The world system is generally tied to a buying and selling lifestyle, be employed until you are old enough and rich enough to spend a lot of money on restaurants and tourism. That seems to be our goal. We see ourselves as prosperous, sophisticated, wise and modern. Those who are not in our culture, we see as underdeveloped, disadvantaged and unknowledgeable about how to have our prosperity. Our focus on money blinds us to the destruction of our environment.
It is good to have compassion and to want to help; but we must first take a good look at where we are and what the consequences of our lifestyle are. There is no debate that we are polluting our air, land and water to such an extent that we are buying water for a clean, undefiled purity. We have discarded the wisdom of our forefathers in agricultural ways that protected the land and our food supply. We have become a culture where multitudes are dying from disease, accidents, and violence.
The problems in Africa and the industrial nations are primarily the same and they are spiritual. We have ignored the power of protection that is in the word of God. If you know Leviticus 26, you know the past, the present and the future. For obedience to His word, God promises rain in due season and the land shall yield its increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit; and He would give peace in the land. Lift up that promise from their God and the people of every nation will understand all the miseries that came upon them as we will understand all the bondage and corruptions that have come upon our people for ignoring His wisdom.
God has solutions to most if not all world problems we created by ignoring His wisdom. God is one God over all people and has commanded all people the same thing; follow His word. Jesus said, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word out of the mouth of God." The prophet Muhammad was confirming that as God's messenger to the Christians and Jews. All were to follow the word of God in the whole Bible and believe in all the books God has sent down. There is no need for wars or separations; the way is prepared ahead of us to create a garden paradise here on earth with unity in belief.
With rain in due season, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Rwanda and all of Africa could live in a lavish garden and live a retirement lifestyle of growing what they need for themselves and enough to share. They would have the abundant life that God promises and the rest of the world would understand that the goal is not employment; the goal is retirement in a garden paradise here and now.
