12 - Chikezie is a 22 year old, timeless soul singer from Inglewood, CA with soft voice. With the essence of Luther Vandross, Chikezie proves he is worthy of being on the American Idol stage. Some may describe him as old fashioned, however; I believe his timeless style is coming back to this era and becoming more current, right in front of our eyes. I think Chikezie has the potential of showing the world what he can do and that is what we are waiting for.

Asia'h Epperson and Kady Malloy, along with Luke Menard and Danny Noriega were eliminated on March 6th. Alaina Whitaker and Alexandrea Lushington, along with Jason Yeager and Robbie Carrico were eliminated on February 28th. Amy Davis and Joanne Borgella, along with Colton Berry and Garrett Haley were eliminated on February 21st. The final elimination was on March 6th, which then created the top 12 contestants of season 7. On March 11th, the top 12 will take the stage to perform from the McCartney/Lennon song book and on March 12th, one of the contestants will be eliminated.
