The best way to support the troops but not the war is to figure out how to bring them home with honor and without encouraging further aggression. We must realize that the people of Iraq are facing the same problems. They don't want the war but they don't want the indecency and disregard of God's word that comes with democracy as we practice it.

This is not one war; this is a world at war. We hear we are fighting to protect our people, yet we do not realize that we are putting tens of thousands of our sons and daughters where there is a provoking of violence on both sides. This is not protection! When they were home, the likelihood that they would be killed or maimed was small. We can best support our troops by bringing them home. We are living in fear when God and Jesus said not to fear, but to trust in God who promises to protect us if our lifestyle is according to His word. That promise is for all people.

We say we are fighting to preserve our way of life. If we will see our way of life the way God and the Islamic people see it, we would not want to hold on to it. God promises severe chastising on the disobedient. For that reason, the Al-Qaeda and Iraqis are fighting to keep our way of life out of their country. They generally do not have alcohol, vulgar television and movies, scantily clad women, pride and vanity, loose sexuality, disobedient and disrespectful children, or even profanity in true Islamic countries. When we do not want this in our culture, the violence of war can be over

The primary message of God to the prophet Muhammad, recorded in the Qur'an in 2:135, 136; 3:85; 5:68, 69; 42:14-16 (Ahmad numbers), is to follow the whole Bible. Preachers in many religions speak lies or error that provoke fear, anger, or disrespect for God's word through other prophets. Correction brings understanding that we are one family under one supreme God, with one way of life, submission to His word and honoring God for His wisdom and His mercy. Our protection depends on it.

"Allah" means "the God". In Exodus 3:15, God told Moses, "I am the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob, this is My name forever and this is My memorial to all generations."

The Qur'an does not contain the Bible; it points to it to be followed as the guidance and judging for mankind. God said not to add to it or take away from it. He has cross-referenced prophets around the world to verify His word to other prophets.

We can best support our troops by lifting up a standard of morality and decency according to the Bible which most religions respect and our Constitution upholds. It would not require an amendment, only a clarifying statement according to the words of our founding fathers.

There is no need to be at war if we want to be a godly nation. All troops can go home with honor and without encouraging future aggression.
