Why should US be the leader of world politics?
US who is since the start of 20th century following an imperialistic foreign policy is pretty much driving on the same line. When a county is following an imperialistic foreign policy it cant be a leader of world politics for long. After WWII, US emerged as the only world super-power, leaving behind all the previous world powers such as Great Britain, France, Germany, etc. In the 1950's, the Soviet Union started to rival the US in terms of economic and military power, which ultimately led us to witness a new type of war, Cold War between two world powers, The United States vs The Soviet Union. It was during the Cold War that we actually saw the real imperialistic foreign policy of US on the weaker nations. From here let us focus of what US did from then on. It forcibly forced geographically important countries to form an alliance with them.
It also tried other ways to persuade into their fold, such as Pakistan and the oil rich middle-eastern countries. The US provided economic and military aid and also ensured military presence in these crucial, strategically important countries excluding Pakistan, which to this day haven't allowed any US military presence in their territory. US is the most reliable ally of the State of Israel. On the other hand, US has also made sure that it is also the most important ally of the oil rich Arabs.
So analyzing US relationship with these states, it was actually playing with all these states for its own benefit, providing these rival states with sophisticated weaponry,Soviet Union too provided Arabs with weaponry such as Egypt and Syria and then what happened?.....Six Day War of 1967 between Israel and the Arabs, which the Arabs lost and that ultimately led to more political problems everywhere. US again was providing Pakistan with weaponry and Pakistan used those weapons in 1965 & 71 war with India. US also provided these important countries with economic aid but only in those times when they were strategically important to it. For example, when Pakistan started its nuclear program, the United States imposed immediate sanctions on Pakistan making an attempt to stop its nuclear program. But when the Soviet's invaded Afghanistan, Pakistan became the only country who could stop the Communist aggression and the US again turned a blind eye towards Pakistan's nuclear program, only itself and containing Soviet's aggression to strategic Afghanistan.
The United States provided unconditional
