How we know Iran and North Korea won't use nuclear weapons

We don't. After all, the only time in history that they were used was by the worlds most benevolent democracy. I think the question here should be, "How do we reduce and eliminate the chances of nuclear war from happening?" I understand that the simplistic answer is to somehow get rid of all of the weapons. But, that is not possible unless every country in the world is ruled by sane leaders who are assured of their nations safety from any attack. That doesn't seem possible either. So, the only real solution is that the entire world has one leader. Then, all of these things become possible. Will that happen? Probably not. So, you see, discussing this problem is merely an exercise in wishful thinking. Unless, of course, we take firm military action at the outset and destroy North Koreas ability to produce nuclear weapons. All we have to do is bomb their nuclear facilities and kill several million people in the process.
Some problems have no easy solutions and this is one. The best thing to do is to keep trying negotiations until there is a change of leadership in North Korea. Until then, keep a close eye on their intentions and be ready for the worst.
