Experience with McDonalds

There was nothing like eating at McDonald's when I was a kid. I would beg my mother to go there, and I would get a kids meal with chicken McNuggest, and an orange soda. It was the best treat we could ever ask for. Carl's Jr., Wendy's, Taco Bell, nothing else could compare to McDonalds and all it's tasty treats.

When I got into High School, McDonald's was like crack, my friends and I would eat it non stop. We would dip our french fries into our milk shakes. And it never mattered how many calories I was munching down on, I was a very waifish teenager.

Then one day, I guess I just grew up and out grew McDonald's. I ate there, and it was the most disgusting foul thing I had ever eaten. What happened? This was not My McDonald's! What happened to the McDonald's that I know and love, that would never let me down with such tasty fattening treats?

I basically stopped eating it because it was just gross. And then they came out with a new campaign that they serve only white chicken meat now. Which made me think what were they really serving before. The more I thought about the more I was disturbed.

One day my husband really wanted McDonald's, I didn't want to go, but it had been literally at least a year since we had been there. So we eat McDonald's, he was telling me it was so tasty and we need to go there more often. Then about fifteen minutes after we ate there, he couldn't breathe. His throat started to close up, and he was having a full on allergic reaction to whatever he ate. At the time we didn't connect the two since he had been able to eat there his whole life with no trauma.

A few weeks later, he was begging for McDonald's. I didn't want it, but we made a bet and I lost, so now we are eating McDonald's. Fifteen minutes after he eats his food he can't breathe once again. It was horrible, there was this coughing fit that lasted for a full week. There was this funky phlem. So I told him no more McDonald's.

So a few weeks later, he find some sauce from McDonald's and he wants to eat it with some fries. He had one drop of the sauce and started into a coughing fit. So that is strike three against McDonald's. We have gone to the doctor and guess what? No McDonald's, they said they don't know what the heck McDonald's puts in it's food but it oviously isn't good for him.

I am a bit on the happy side since I dont have to eat gross disgusting McDonald's. At the same time I do feel bad that my husband can't eat there. It is a little odd to say you are allergic to McDonald's. I have tried to make him feel better by reminding him how they always got our order wrong, or how they are a bunch of teenagers who are texting their friends and not even paying attention to customers or they basically throw your food at you and never give you correct change. This is a good thing in the end. Not to mention he is less likely to have heart failure.
