to the afore mentioned scenario. In addition, there will always be the criminal activity that is present in such a situation. The Israel/Palestine situation is further complicated by the fact that there are those on both sides who do not acknowledge the rite of the other to exist and will not be satisfied until the other's complete destruction is fulfilled. This last factor can be mitigated if the rest of the population can be given sufficient reason bay way of actually having a future to not contribute to regional destabilization. This will not happen in the case of Israel and Palestine because Palestine will remain a vary poor and unstable state fore some time unless its fragmented government can organize itself into finding economic solution or Israel can provide the needed aid to lead Palestine into becoming a real country instead of the farce it is now.
The government of Palestine will not be able to accomplish this role until its members stop trying to kill each other and Israel will not accomplish its role sufficiently until there is actually a structure in place that can make use of such aid. This again echoes the need for a Real Palestinian government, as it is the only kind of structure that could be meant by the last sentence. And again, it is not likely.
All negativity aside, if the futility of a two state solution can be seen with such ease, can a real solution be found? If there is a solution to this complex problem, it will likely be as, if not more complex. However, a hint at such a plan could be forgetting a two state solution all together and instead pursuing a socially, politically, economically and religiously integrated state combining the two, only artificially different populations. Such would be the outline for a real plane at bringing lasting change. Much detail would be needed and is also not likely to come as this is only wishful thinking. It appears that the impotence at finding a real solution will continue into full blown dialectal dysfunction for a vary ling time if it is not already at that point.
