On my way to work each morning, I feel confident about my driving ability in my late model vehicle, maneuvering through what I call 'busy' traffic. Not a day goes by that someone on a mission, or maybe just got up on the wrong side of the bed, cuts me off, or has to quickly correct because, at the last minute, he/she sees I'm right next to them. More often than not, it's a spiffy sports car whose driver hasn't yet gotten past the power trip. I understand this, and back off.
My job is easily done, no stress or unfinished work, and since I work part time, I'm soon home again. Just a few months ago, I began the odyssey of starting my own home business.
Our home office is equipped with a number of electronic gadgets of our high-tech times, centered by a traditional desktop PC; yet, I also power up my laptop so I can look at a number of online resources at one time. In the evenings after dinner, and sometimes after another short session on the computer, we sit down at our entertainment center, including a 65" DLP projection TV with surround sound, to either enjoy our favorite TV shows, or a Netflix movie that arrived that day. We have not yet learned how to combine our four remote controls into one universal control, but we know the sequence and which buttons to push.
On weekends, the electric lawn mower, lawn edger, and weed-eater are put to use on the diverse landscaping of our home.
Either in the workshop or in the driveway are two
