Passion. It is one of those essential aspects of life that make the whole trial so worth seeing to the end. Without passion, one's life becomes a long list of endless chores and difficulties that is nothing but routine and non-worthwhile. Once one allows passion to act within one's life, life becomes anything but routine and there is more than the daily chores, there are daily discoveries. Life becomes complete with passion and a life without passion is void and hollow.
Many people make the mistake of believing that in order to be passionate, one must find something that they are able to focus on all the time, something to be passionate about. This misconception can make passion seem more like a trial rather than reprieve. Passion is not an act; it is a way of life and a daily choice that one must be committed to making. Passion is fully embracing everything that life hands you and ravishing for all that it is worth and more. Passion is more than a feeling, it is life.
For those who are looking to find passion in a person or activity, I fear they will be disappointed. There is nothing material in life that can fill the void that one feels when life becomes dispassionate. There is no person that one can feel completed by without embracing passionate behaviors. There is only the immediate satisfaction of that person and that activity. This immediate satisfaction can assist in feeling passionate and should be embraced as true joy and passion.
To feel passion, one must chose to be passionate and eager to embrace the day and the day's challenges. Life is easy for no one, and to believe that it is, is only to deceive. Take an activity that is enjoyable, and remember the feeling of enjoyment that is experienced from that activity. After that activity is finished, carry that feeling over to the next activity. Remember to smile and to think positive. By continuing this behavior, one should feel enjoyment in life and as time continues, one's passion for life will be fulfilled by the simplest activities and the smallest of treasures. Be passionate, it is okay.
