I am not a fan of jogging, and jogging on the roads and through the town are very unsafe.
You can get in the way of the traffic and cause problems for people on the road.
I feel if you feel that you really need to jog then you should find a park that has a track this way you could keep a memo of your distance and time that you run.
I am not a big fan of jogging anyway, because little do people know that in the long run it takes a toll on your needs.
Yes it messes of your needs and as you get older it does a long term job.
Because when you jog every time the heal of your foot hit the ground there is a shock that goes through your leg, but the greatest impact from the hit goes through the knee, and as this goes on day by day it starts to get worst but we never know until we get older and start to need knee replacements.
If you want to have that same jogging results on your body without the bad knee results then ride a bike.
But my best suggestion is power walking this is the best way to get results and with that you can get it faster and all over your body.
I know there are people that love to jog and feel that they do see a lot of results but trust me you may see results but at the same time you will be paying for them in the long run and which is better seeing results and having the problems later or doing what's right and being able to continue to exercise and not develop these problems.
Power walking is the best way to go and the results last longer and the problems do not ac cure.
Don't let me stop you from jogging if this is something that you enjoy doing but I have to tell you that in twenty five years from now you will be saying that I wish I would have listen to the guy that wrote that small article about jogging and how it is not good for your knees when you are getting that knee replacement.
I want to stress something I have friends that experience this problem and they were joggers of many years and it's just so happen that I did the opposite thing and I am not going through the things that they are.
Thank GOD I started power working early in my life and I am now still able to exercise at fifty years of age and food for through they are my friends yes younger then me.
