Trade winds carry
The faint albatross call;
As I look to the oceans
Feeling enormously small.
As I cast my gaze afar,
Faint ripples I see
So calmly and at peace
They inch towards me.
The ripples come and they go
Their waves so refined.
Then in an instance
Their force is defined.
Their anger seems endless
Traveling down the shore
Pounding the rocks
Sending mists that soar.
But their anger is short
As they come to sweet rest.
As foam leaves the mark
Of their gentle caress.
