If you want to watch a movie about a real situation, with a character who will will your heart in the first five minutes then Juno is the movie for you. From the unique characters to the personal humor, Juno is a must see. Juno follows the story of the girl Juno, who upon getting bored has sex with her unofficial boyfriend and becomes pregnant. The movie is all about her journey through the pregnancy. Juno finds the couple who will adopt her baby and develops an unusual relationship with the husband.
The humor in this movie is one of a kind. Although inappropriate at times, it is not humor that will make you squirm with uncomfortableness in your seat. It is pure teenage humor, yet this does not take away from the heart warming mood of the movie. Adults will love this movie too becuase the even though the humor is very teenage aimed, the whole situation and the realness of it is enough to capture adult and teenage audiences alike.
The music is so appropriate for this movie. It sticks right with the mood of the film. I've already even bought the sound track I enjoyed it so much. The music is all fresh and I can almost guarantee you haven't heard most if any of it.
The actors in Juno are very talented. It seems that each actor matches his or her role perfectly. Ellen Paige, who plays Juno is phenomenal. There are such a range of characters in this film there is someone everyone in the audience will fall in love with. Paulie Bleaker is the father of Juno's baby. Bleaker is one of the sweetest movie characters that has been on the big screen in a really long time. His innocence and sweet spirit are so refreshing. Sex appeal is not a part of Juno. The characters are not dressed up or meant to be "sexy" by any means. Yet, they capture the audience so much and make the audience never want to look away.
When you go to see Juno you should go with an open mind to new thoughts, humor, and types of people. The end of the movie is somewhat sad and very unexpected. Yet, the film pulls through for you, leaving the audience pleased with the outcome. Overall, Juno is one of the most unique movies that has been made.
