There have been times in the past where I would have screamed out, "Yes, YES! I HATE my job!" But it really has to do with how you feel about your job. I currently work at home as a writer, freelancer, and blogger, and truth be told, I LOVE my job! My job is rewarding, makes me feel good about the things I do, works for me, and provides an income level that is great for me and my family.

Rewarding.
As human beings we have the need to feel that what we do is rewarding. It might be making someone feel good about themselves, accomplishing something great, or meeting goals. We all find different things rewarding at different levels. It may be that the barisita who served your coffee this morning loves her job and finds it very rewarding, while you struggle to understand how she could love a job that pays her only seven dollars and fifty cents an hour. Rewards come in different packages for different people.

Feeling Good.
Often feeling good about what you do goes hand in hand with how rewarding your job is for you. However, you might feel good about one aspect of your job and not the other. When you feel good about your job, you are more likely to want to go, to find it rewarding, and to find it fulfilling.

Works for Me.
It is easy for a person to get tied up into working for their job, their company, the people they serve, or the boss that is always there. However, it is also important that your job work for you. You have to have a job that is making you enough money and providing you with enough emotional benefits as well.

Making the Green.
Most of us have a job to make money. We could find a ton of hobbies to have instead, should we not need the money. However, that isn't an option and because it isn't an option we work hard to make money. If we don't feel like we are making anywhere near our worth, or have no potential to do that, we will get discouraged and disappointed.

Loving one's job doesn't always fit into a neat little formula. Other factors fall into it including stress, home life, the situations at home, co-workers, the situations with co-workers, bosses, and even customers for a great deal of industries. Some days might make it easier or harder to love your job. However, the goal should be to love your job most of the time. I know I do!
