Third, if we want to make some heterosexual friendship, we should try to keep a certain distance, and don't let this kind of friendship go astray, if we have been married. Don't stay overnight together. As we all know that this kind of relationship is very fragile, we need to have this principle in mind: don't let this kind of friendship spoil the family. We can share our passion on sports, but no passion for love. Don't accept private dating, or the other similar invitations.

Fourth, make friends along the way of your development in life. In different stages of your life, there will be different kind of persons for you to make friends with. No matter in which stage of your life, when making friends with the others, you need to show your sincerity, offering understanding and respect to the others. We may dislike some persons around us, and some may not agree with our views. However, from the bottom of our heart, we should show our respect to the others.

Fifth, we should know that friends actually follow the principle of reciprocity. In coexistence, friendship can exceed the scope of mutual trust and understanding. Therefore, it is necessary to consider carefully whether your friends are willing to do their best for you, and if you are willing to do your best for them. Your request should not embarrass your friends. It is very important for you to keep this in mind when making friends.

Sixth, remember to maintain an appropriate distance with your friends. Each person had his own privacy. Distance makes friendship wonderful and lasting. Don't poke your nose into others' private business, unless you are asked to help to settle some problems.

Seventh, let your heart be guarded by a door. To some friends, you can open your heart, while to some others, you need to lock the door, at least, don't open the door to your heart fully. This is not to hurt friendship. As we know, we have many kinds of friends, and to different friends, we should have different ways of communication. We cannot treat a family friend in the way that we treat our business friends. Right? I wish you could understand this point. I don't want to urge you to stop communicating with your friends. What I want to say is that you need to protect yourself when making friends. Blind trust in friendship will do you great harm. Remember, open your heart to those who are worth your trust and understanding. "A friend in need is a friend indeed." However, we have so many friends and not all of them are true friends.

Eighth, you can tell your true friends when you are in trouble, though I don't wish this happen to you. Usually, when you are in trouble, some "friends" will leave you; but if you find that some offer their help to you instead of leaving you alone, you know that they are your true friends.

All in all, there are a lot for us to learn to have a good relationship with our friends, and it is quite necessary for us to tell who our true friends are, too. Making friends is really an art for us to learn in our whole life.
