The mysteries of Karma revealed

The following is a copy of a relevent artical I left in the Buddhism section on a similar 'Karma' subject;

The concept of karma is a reasonable hypothesis when one 'believes' one's senses to be an accurate reflection of the 'true nature of existence'.

Unfortunately, our senses are so inadequate, that the concept of 'karma' has no real existence other than in our imagination. Conclusions drawn from false premises are usually also false. It is amazing how quickly the ego will believe 'it's own' senses and support and defend them vehemently and often violently. 'Believing' the senses to be accurate is delusional and leads down the ever narrowing tunnel of delusion, further and further from 'Consciousness'!

I demonstrate the 'poorness' of sensory data on my blog here;
http://truthrealityandexi ste nce.blogspot.com/
in a short excerpt from my up-comming book...

Other 'false' concepts that arise from this same spurious sensory data are the concepts of; 'free-will', 'choice', 'time', 'linearity', 'cause and effect', 'motion', 'personal responsibility', etc,.. the list grows like the ripples in a lake, all from 'belief' that our perceptions are accurate and true. We have better tools these days wherewith to 'update' our 'bio-computer programming' in our mind, then our personal senses (quantum physics). Our whole 'world-view' is 'affected'.

The definition of 'delusion' is the 'belief' that illusion is 'reality'. If you hold no 'beliefs', you cannot be deluded. Although 'belief' is easier than actual 'thought' (critical and creative), often thought will be more fruitful. It is also much simpler to upgrade a 'thought' in the face of new data than to alter a 'belief'.
