Clouds are like waves
in an ocean of blue sky
on a windy day
rushing forever to meet the shore
they cannot
In a child's eyes clouds are
a billowy bubble bath
in a tub of light water
they look so close
he reaches out to touch them
he almost can
they slip away just out of reach
soft like soap suds
they drift away
