Are you looking for a great gift to make a new mom happy? What is it that every new mom wishes she had more of? Time! Why not give her that gift of precious time? YOURS! Offer to do her grocery shopping, clean the house, watch the baby so she can take a nap. Go to the post office, run errands, all those things she doesn't have the time or energy for right now. Clean her house, do a load of laundry. Cook a few meals that she can freeze for those days when she is just too tired to cook for herself. Give the baby a bath. Write out the thank you cards for all the other gifts she has gotten. Return all those clothes the baby has grown out of already! The list of errands really can go on and on for new parents.

Create a baby book. Take pictures, make a scrap book. What mother doesn't want all her precious little ones first moments captured forever? All moms want that, it's too bad most moms don't have the time or energy to do those things after giving birth. By simply running to a craft store and getting some supplies, you can help preserve a lifetime of memories for a new mom. She will look at the baby book for years to come and will pass it on to her little one someday. It will be enjoyed for generations to come.

All of these little things will be appreciated more than you would ever know. And none of them cost you any money. They are all about the time and effort you put forth to show how much you care. Any mom would be grateful to have a friend show how much they care and help out. And even more grateful to have a few things marked off their to-do list!
