How to make friends

find like minds.

3. Learn to use your ears more than your sight.

There's nothing like losing your sight to create a better listener. Learn to observe through your ears and what you hear might be more revealing than anything you'll ever see in a potential friend to be.

In the past, I blindly socialized, but now I see new friends more clearly by listening intently. People long for a listening ear to hear their thoughts, feelings and what they believe. When you listen to what people say and how they say it, you'll see who the best friends will be.

4. Once you've found a connection with someone and begin to call them your friend, remember that the more you give, the more you'll receive. Oprah Winfrey said it best on TV. "The more grateful you are, the more you'll have to be grateful for." When you give friendship more than you expect to receive, what you'll receive will be more than you ever dreamed it would be.

Friendship must be treasured or they become obsolete. People are drawn together to bring treasures, but the treasure must be seen.

5. Share your insight with others.

When you inspire someone, it evolves and revolves back to you. It has to. What we send out into the universe, by God's universal law, must be returned to you. When I lost my sight, I realized it was true. How else could I have found you?
