This passage from the Bible is saying if you make friends with, for, or of the world then you are the enemy of God. If your mate has made friends with someone unknown to you then just the fact that his friend is a secret friend is enough to label that friend "of the world." If that friend was not of the world then your mate would gladly share her with you, tell you who she is and tell you why that person is in his life at that time. I can think of many more entities I would rather be an enemy of, than GOD!

This is the big one. You hear this one and it is time for you to be right on your tippy toes. Your spouse has found their special interest and they are spending time with that person. That time may be late into the evening or perhaps all night. All your spouse has to make sure of is that you believe that person is just his friend. He can do things with a friend he wouldn't do with you, so he will use "just a friend" often.

Sorry, we do not have the time or space for all twelve phrases but these six should certainly give you something to think about. My guess is that if you have had any kind of emotional trouble of any kind then you have heard at least one perhaps more of these phrases; they are the breath of the devil, keep your guard up.
