4) Don't be so insecure!"

"And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope." Job 11:18, The Bible KJV

Our security comes from our hope. Of course the Bible is talking about our relationship with God but the words work equally well with any relationship. We are talking about your relationship with your mate. If you are looking for security then you need to have hope. If you do have hope then you can be secure. You are secure in your relationship if you still have hope in it. No one has any reason to accuse you of being insecure if you are showing concern over the well-being of your husband.

This is probably the second most widely used accusation when a partner is cheating or thinking of doing so. You have no defense here. It's a lot like the jealousy thing. No matter what you question you will be greeted with the "Insecure" thing. Your mate needs to throw the blame for anything going on right now back into your lap. He hasn't done anything it's just your insecurities making you think he was out all night. He will be looking to blame you for everything. He will be on a fault-finding mission when he actually begins looking for that extramarital activity.

5) "You are so possessive."

"The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife." 1 Corinthians 7:4, The Bible KJV

The woman doesn't possess her own destiny all by herself neither does the man. Not when you both have willingly entered into a shared union. You each possess the other's destiny. Possession is a strong word but it is the right one. The possession has to be mutual though; you possess your mate and your mate possesses you. It really is a give and take situation. Neither one can give or take more than the other one; you both must compromise for the sake of the union, your relationship. There is nothing wrong with being possessive; it is a requirement!

When your husband starts freely accusing you of being possessive he is trying to detach himself from you. He wants to feel free of you so he doesn't feel as guilty about what he is doing or is about to do. He is deep within his plans now and he cannot afford even the least bit of obligation to you. He just wants to be shed of you for these few brief moments while he pursues his fantasy.
